Plenary Session
Mondays 7:15–8:15 p.m., mostly online
Together we discuss and decide what is happening at the Queer Center. For that, we meet once a week for an hour-long plenary session. Here, people report on past and planned events, and we talk about challenges and goals for the Queer Center. New groups and volunteers also introduce themselves at the plenary meeting so that we can get to know each other. Every two months, we hold a introductory plenary meeting so that new people can get started. We also hold regular social plenary meetings where we talk about how we are feeling within the Queer Center and with each other.

This is how our plenary meetings work:
We usually meet online. We will send you the link in advance by email.
The meetings last 1 hour and it is okay to leave early. We appreciate new people joining the plenary session.
We start with a short round of introductions where people also share how they are currently feeling.
Then we share what has been happening at the Queer Center since the last plenary session and discuss upcoming events and new ideas. At the first plenary session of the month, new people can introduce their ideas to the plenary session. We discuss these at the beginning of the plenary session.
We vote on whether to bring ideas to life at the Queer Center. Only Queer Center members who are present at the meeting can vote.
Taster Plenary Sessions
On the last Monday in January, March, May, July, September, and November, we hold a taster plenary session.
At this plenary session, we take special care to explain how a plenary works, what we talk about, and what unwritten rules of conduct there are to new people interested in engaging in future plenary sessions. These plenary sessions take place from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Queer Center. You can also join online. Afterwards, all volunteers and interested people are invited to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening together.
Social Plenary Sessions
On the last Monday in February, April, June, August, October and December, we hold a plenary session for emotional check ins.
How is everyone doing? How are you feeling in regards to the Queer Center? Is there any conflict that the people volunteering and working at the Queer Center should be aware of?
The social plenary sessions take place from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Queer Center. You can also join online. Afterwards, all volunteers are invited to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening together.
