Membership

Queeres Zentrum Kassel e.V. is an association we founded in 2021 to provide a home for queer communities in Kassel and North Hesse. You can support our work by becoming a member of the association. This will show the city of Kassel and the districts of North Hesse that our work is important.

There are two types of membership: full member and supporting member. To become a member, fill out a membership application online or at the Queer Center.

Full members

All LGBTIQ+ and queer people can become full members. Membership is free so that everyone can participate.

Full members have a say: at the annual general meeting, they elect the board and can stand for election themselves. They also have voting rights at the weekly plenary meetings and decide what happens at the Queer Center Kassel.

Full members decide for themselves whether and how much they participate. It's okay if you never attend a plenary meeting. It helps us just by being a member and showing that you find our work important.

Supporting members

Anyone can become a supporting member: individuals, associations, companies, collectives, organizations...

Supporting members pay a monthly membership fee. Each supporting member determines this fee for themselves. Supporting members are not entitled to vote.

You can be both a full member and a supporting member. As a full member, you are entitled to vote.
