On Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., our newly launched kickoff meeting for the Queer BIPOC Hangout will take place at the Queer Center!

[This time, there will be free ice cream.]

The idea is to bring together queer BIPOC people in the Kassel/North Hesse area who would like to meet regularly to recharge their batteries together.

BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. If you’re not sure whether this applies to you, feel free to stop by or send an email to bery@QueeresZentrumKassel.de. The same goes if you’re not sure whether the term “queer” applies to you.

This is meant to be a safer space where we can share experiences, chat, do crafts, snack, and just spend time together.

The event is sponsored by the Anti-Discrimination Office of the Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth, and Social Affairs.
