Self-Assertion—An Empowering Workshop with Silas
For disabled, queer, and chronically ill queers
February 27, 1:00–6:00 p.m. Workshop, 6:00 p.m. dinner
together Register by January 24 at TristanMarie at QueeresZentrumKassel dot de.
In everyday life, people are often impatient with us.
Or they shame us, or they show no consideration.
In this workshop, we’ll share stories of these experiences.
Together, we’ll reflect:
What do I wish for in these moments?
What helps me feel strong?
How do I defend myself?
We’ll practice self-assertion.
First, we’ll practice together at the Queer Center.
Then we’ll split into small groups and practice in the city.
Refreshments
Snacks and drinks will be provided during the workshops.
The Queer Center is taking care of that.
Before or after the workshop, we’ll eat together.
We will do Potluck.
If you can, bring some food. We’ll share what we have.
